Letting in the Light

Letting in the Light

Reina’s session was nothing short of amazing, transformative, and powerful in so many ways. Her experience is a fantastic example of the many ways Expanded Healing Hypnosis can offer healing and enlightenment through uncovering past life memories and releasing trauma through symbolism and visualization as well as working with the inner child.

She booked her session hoping to receive understanding about past life visions she’s had, as well as to open up some blockages.

I began the session by inviting Reina to step through a door into a beautiful place – somewhere safe and sacred that’s just for her, then I asked her to describe it for me.

Reina: It's like rocks and clouds and water. It's blue, and rocks are gray. Water's falling.

Jami: Can you hear the water falling?

R: I can.

J: Is there any other sounds you hear?

R: Birds.

J: Is there a breeze blowing or how's the air feel?

R: Still. Calm.

J: Nice.

R: Warm, but not hot.

J: And where are you? Are you standing? Sitting?

R: Sitting on a rock.

J: Nice. And what are you wearing? Are you barefoot or--

R: Barefoot with, almost a linen-like outfit. It's white and loose and just comfortable. Very flowy. My hair is in a bun. I'm touching the water.

J: Is there anything else you notice here in this beautiful space? Anybody else here with you? Or an energy that you may notice?

R: I can feel something. I don't see anything, but I can feel something.

J: What do you feel?

R: Somebody there. Somebody watching me.

J: Just feel into what this person feels like. What kind of energy do they have?

R: Scared.

J: The person is scared?

R: Yeah.

J: What are they scared of?

R: Like, I'm not sure, but it's like this… like this nervous energy. Like, I don't even know how to explain it. It's like, you know, when you want so badly to, like, do something or rush towards something, and you can't. Or you hold yourself back.

J: Yeah.

R: It's like they're screaming in their head.

J: Can you invite them to join you? Maybe you can help.

R: I can try.

J: If you would like to.

R: But I don't know where they are.

J: Do you think they can feel you and your energy like you can feel theirs?

R: I don't know.

J: Would you like to ask?

R: Yeah.

J: Go ahead and do that in whatever way feels right.

R: I don't know where you are, but can you just show me who you are? Can you... Can you come to where I'm at? (pause) Okay. They went away.

J: You don't feel them there anymore?

R: No. It's like they suddenly… like, breeze came and like it just… Gave me like a shiver.

J: Wow. What does it feel like now?

R: A little bit sad. (gets emotional)

J: What do you think that was? Was it a part of you?

R: I'm not sure, but maybe.

J: Go ahead and let that sadness move through you. Go ahead and feel it. (Reina cries) Good.

R: It feels calm again.

J: Good. And just go ahead and scan your beautiful place, and yourself. Is there anything you notice here anymore now?

R: No.

J: Would you like to stay here? Is there anything that you feel you need to do or explore?

R: No. It's nice here.

J: Now, just know you can come here anytime you want, anytime that you need clarity or just a break. You can close your eyes, take several breaths to relax you and place yourself by this waterfall on these rocks. Just enjoy this peaceful stillness. But for now, I'd like you to look up into the sky. Can you see the sky from where you are?

R: Yes.

J: And up in the sky. I would like you to imagine this big white fluffy cloud. Huge white fluffy cloud. Can you see it up there?

R: Yes.

I lead her through the cloud visualization, bringing her to a soft cloud in the sky that will transport her anywhere through time and space. Once she arrives at the place in time that her subconscious brings her to, she drifts down from the cloud, and I ask her to describe what she’s experiencing.

R: It's like I'm in a house.

J: Inside the house?

R: Yeah.

J: Can you describe the house?

R: It's old. It's very old. It's dark. It's daytime, but it's dark. The front door is open. There's all these people and cars outside. Like a funeral. They're old cars. Some of them look rusty. Strange.

J: What's strange?

R: Just how people are dressed and...

J: Can you describe how they're dressed?

R: Clothes are old and torn. Tattered. Discolored.

J: Do you know these people?

R: I don't.

J: I'd like you to take a moment and check in with you. You can start by looking down at your feet. What do your feet look like?

R: Barefoot. They're dirty.

J: Now go ahead and scan up your body. Notice what you're wearing. Notice what your body's like and just describe whatever it is you notice.

R: I'm wearing clothes like they are.

J: Tattered and worn?

R: Yeah, and my skin is real dry and ashy. Real thin. And like, everybody's real thin. Like... I look like them.

J: Thin like starving?

R: Yeah. Yeah. Like malnourished. Like hungry.

J: Do you know if you're male or female?

R: Female.

J: Do you know how old you are?

R: Teens. Late teens.

J: So go ahead and look back out around you. And do you notice anybody that you know is familiar to you?

R: No.

J: Do you know why you're here?

R: No.

J: What if you did know? This person that you've embodied now? This memory? Go ahead and let her memory take over. And why is she here?

R: It's a funeral.

J: Do you know who's funeral?

R: It's a family member.

J: Do you know how this family member is related to you or connected to you?

R: Like I thought of... a Grandmother.

J: Were you close with her?

R: No.

J: Do you have parents here in this house? Or for the funeral?

R: Yeah.

J: Can you see them?

R: No.

J: You just know they're there?

R: Yeah. They're outside. All the people.

J: Do you have any siblings?

R: Yeah. A lot.

J: And is this your house that you live in or somebody else's that you're visiting?

R: It's our house.

J: Did you grow up here?

R: No. We moved a lot.

J: So why is everybody dressed like this? Is everybody poor or what's the circumstance?

R: It's a poor place. Very poor place. I'm not... It's strange. It's... I'm... (whispers) um... It's like deep south. Like... We're black. Everybody's black. (pause) I'm scared.

J: What are you scared of?

R: I'm not really sure. It's like fear is just in the air.

J: Are the other people scared?

R: Yeah.

J: Can you tell what they're scared of?

R: It's not even, like, scared of a thing. Like an immediate thing. It's like a general feeling of fear. General energy of fear. And everybody's... All the adults are sad. The kids are just standing there watching.

J: Watching the adults?

R: Yeah.

J: So what happens next?

R: It's almost like I'm frozen. Like I'm just standing there in the back corner of the house, looking out the front door. And. I just can't move.

J: Why do you think that is?

R: I feel like I don't belong here. I feel like anything I say is going to be wrong. Anything I do is going to be wrong.

J: Is that how you grew up? How you were treated?

R: Yeah.

J: By your parents or by everybody?

R: Everybody.

J: Would you like to see what happens next in this moment, or would you like to fast forward to a significant event in this life?

R: I think I'm going to fast forward.

J: Okay. So just go ahead and imagine the scene kind of dissipating around you as you move forward in time. Fast forwarding and then coming to a stop at a new and significant event in this lifetime that has information for you. And once again, let the scene take shape around you. And let me know what the first thing is that you notice.

R: I'm running away.

J: You're running away?

R: Mm hmm.

J: How old are you?

R: Early 20s.

J: And are you more running away from something or running to something? Or both?

R: A little bit of both running away from, from that life and that, that energy, that feeling. That... State of being paralyzed and just stuck.

J: And where are you running to? Do you know where you're going?

R: I don't know where I'm going, but I'm just trying to run towards... Freedom? Feeling free, being free.

J: And so describe what else is happening, how you're feeling or where you're going, or any experience that pops up along the way as you run.

R: This intense feeling of I need to get away. I need to get out of here.

J: Did anything happen that drove you to this point, finally, to push you to take that step and run away?

R: Feeling like if I didn't, I was going to die.

J: Were you in some kind of physical danger that you were going to die?

R: No.

J: Just a feeling?

R: It's that feeling of, like... Despair. Hopelessness.

J: Did anyone else in your family feel this way? Any of your siblings?

R: I think so. Nothing talked about. But you could see on their faces. You feel it in the air. Nobody else did anything. Everybody just stayed. I don't want to stay like that.

J: No. And you had the courage to do something about it.

R: I had to.

J: Would you like to see what happens next? Or find out where you wind up?

R: No.

J: Where would you like to go from here?

R: I don't know. Forward.

J: So go ahead. And like you did before, just fast forward to the next significant event that happens in this life. Maybe we find out where you go and what happens. Just allow the universe to unfold and lead you to where the most significant and appropriate places in this lifetime. Let the scene unfold around you as you find yourself in this new setting. The significant event. And what do you see?

R: It's like a different world, a different life.

J: Are you still the same person or are you in a different life now?

R: Hold on. Something's... Something's weird. I feel like I'm being pulled.

J: Let yourself be pulled if you're okay with it.

R: Yeah.

J: See what happens.

R: So it's a different… It's a different life. It's a different place.

J: Where are you now?

R: It's a different country.

J: Do you know which country?

R: It looks like it could be… Either a Latin country or a middle eastern country? I'm not quite sure. I think it's a Latin country.

J: Can you describe the landscape to me?

R: It's very dry. Very... Like a lot of dirt. But it's not dirty. It's... I can't get over... there are these walls. Just like walls in the city, like. I mean, I think it's a city. They have, like, these... They're like, um, like these white brick walls.

J: Surrounding the city?

R: Not really. Just in the city here and there. And they have, like these... Like. I guess like benches on them? Like built into them? And there are women sitting. And just talking.

J: What do you think these walls are for?

R: Well, maybe... Hold on. It's like to... it's almost like they're surrounding, like, it's like a fence. Like around houses or buildings or... there's something back there.

J: Can you see what's back there?

R: No.

J: Do you feel like you want to know what's back there?

R: No.

J: Okay. It's just something curious?

R: Yeah. But these walls are really... They're really pretty. They're really unique. At the top, there's... There's like... It's like blue. Like a blue decoration. Like a blue and white decoration. I don't know why I'm drawn to these walls, but I'm drawn to these walls.

J: Well, maybe they have some significance to you. If you'd like to once again check in with who you are you can start by looking down at your feet, and then scanning your way up. What do you see?

R: I see a woman in maybe her early 30s. Um, I have sandals on. Um. It's like the... The clothing they wear, it's all similar. It's like... it's kind of like a dress, I guess? And it's... It's white. I feel like I'm always wearing white.

J: Everyone else is wearing white?

R: Yeah. All the women are wearing white. And it's got like, the, like the... Okay. It's got like the head shawl thing. Um, but not like hijab. Just kind of like a shield from the sun or something. It's very pretty. It's very light. It looks delicate.

J: Do you have a family?

R: I feel like I'm just alone. Like nobody's talking to me. And I'm not talking to anybody.

J: Is anyone else talking to each other?

R: Yeah. Everybody.

J: Have you lived here long? Or is this where you live?

R: I feel like I'm new here.

J: How did you get here?

R: Not really sure. Traveled here somehow.

J: Can you remember a time before this place where you might have come from? Or how you traveled here?

R: I feel like I came on a boat. But I'm not really sure from where.

J: Do you remember your life before getting on that boat?

R: Not really.

J: Do you remember why you got on that boat and came over here?

R: A need for something new. New scenery, new surroundings.

J: Was there something about that old place that you were tired of, or didn't like, or needed to get away from?

R: No, I feel more like I was just seeking a new adventure.

J: How long have you been here in this new place now?

R: Not long. Weeks.

J: Have the people accepted you here?

R: I think they would. I think I haven't really put myself out there? I haven't really... I'm a very quiet person. Just kind of keep to myself. I think in some ways I'm really guarded. It's a feeling of just being guarded, not scared or anything like that. Just guarded. Just, you know?

J: What makes you feel guarded?

R: The inability to trust people.

J: Is there a reason you don't trust people?

R: People betrayed me before.

J: Is that part of the reason why you wanted to leave?

R: I think so.

J: Do you remember what happened?

R: There was an argument. There was an argument with a man. In a public place.

J: Between you and the man?

R: Yeah.

J: Who was he to you?

R: Friend? Boyfriend? Something like that.

J: And then what happened?

R: I'm not quite sure what the argument was about. I'm trying to hear what the words were being said. But at one point, he grabbed me by the arm when I tried to leave. I managed to pull away. And I left crying. He lied. He told a lie.

J: Do you remember what about?

R: It was something that I had done that I hadn't done.

J: Why did he think you did that?

R: He knows I didn't.

J: But he lied about it.

R: Yeah.

J: Why?

R: He wanted to blame me. He wanted somebody close to us to think badly of me. Not think badly... But... He needed to change their perspective of me or their perception of me for whatever reason. I'm not really sure why.

J: How long have you been with this man?

R: Years. Three years.

J: And he was a boyfriend, not a husband?

R: Not a husband.

J: How did you wind up with him?

R: I don't really... We met somewhere. We met at a social function. Something. He was introduced to me by somebody else. By a friend. By a friend that he told the lie to.

J: How long after that happened did you get on that boat and leave?

R: Months. Four months.

J: Did anything significant happen in those four months?

R: No. Just need a change.

J: You needed to get away from it.

R: Yeah.

J: You may not know the answer to this, but just curious. Do you recognize him at all? As somebody in this current life?

R: No.

J: Okay. So now you're—is it a city you said that you're in? That have these walls?

R: It looks like… Yeah, like a Latin city. Like a small Latin city. Not something big.

J: Did you choose to come here, or was it by chance?

R: Yeah.

J: So why did you choose this place?

R: It was. It was one of those things where you just pick. It's just a blind choice.

J: So do you have a home here now? Where you live?

R: Yes.

J: What's it like?

R: Small. Comfortable. Safe.

J: Do you live alone or is it a shared space?

R: Alone. There's a patio with a chair. I like to sit in that chair.

J: Do you have any kind of occupation here? How do you spend your day?

R: I do tasks for people.

J: Can you tell what tasks those are?

R: Shopping. Writing. Cooking. Cleaning.

J: So you're capable of many things.

R: Yeah.

J: Do you enjoy this work?

R: I do, it's peaceful. It helps people.

J: Good. Is there anything else you notice as you're standing here looking around? In this new place? Anything that seems significant or that you'd like to explore or that you notice?

R: There's a tea shop I want to go to.

J: Okay.

R: I haven't been there yet.

J: Are you at the tea shop now?

R: Right outside.

J: Okay. So tell me more.

R: It's like open. It's like a cafe. It's like open. There's tables outside. And it smells really good. All the spices and herbs. It just looks so friendly.

J: Do you go inside?

R: I do.

J: Then what happens?

R: A little bit overwhelmed. In a good way. It's just so pretty in here. There's a lot of bronze and gold. They have these bronze or brass teacups. And I get a cup of tea and I sit down. I'm just watching people. People are very friendly.

J: So what happens next?

R: I just enjoy this space. I think for the first time, I feel like I belong.

J: That's a nice feeling.

R: Yeah. I fit here. The air is light. There's a nice breeze.

J: That sounds wonderful.

R: It's beautiful.

J: Would you like to stay here for a while or move forward to an important day in this life?

R: I want to sit here for a minute.

J: Take as long as you need. When you're ready to explore another day in this lifetime, go ahead and let me know.

R: (pause) I think I'm ready.

I move her forward to an important day, and ask her to describe what she sees.

R: Hmm. Looks like the same. Just the same city. But I have a friend now. My friend is sitting with me on the wall like I saw the other people do. We're just talking.

J: How old are you now? How long have you been here?

R: Um, maybe just two years? Two years. It's April. I don't know why that's important.

J: It's like springtime?

R: Yeah.

J: And what else are you noticing or experiencing?

R: Smell of flowers. (pause) I don't know why. I just keep hearing, "It's April, It's April."

J: What's significant about April? Something supposed to happen, or is there some sort of an event?

R: I don't really know.

J: Would you like to find out?

R: Yeah.

J: So just go ahead and make your way towards that answer. If you have to ask somebody maybe. Or if you have to fast forward again to an event that takes place that explains this. Just go ahead and let things unfold naturally. Following your intuition.

R: (softly) What is so important about April?

J: Is there anyone there you can ask?

R: My friend doesn't seem to know either. That's the only person I would ask.

J: Does she know of anybody to ask?

R: She's got this strange look on her face. Like she's confused. Like, why am I asking this?

J: Does she think there's some significance about it being April?

R: No.

J: Okay.

R: I heard, "April in every life."

J: Hmm. What does that mean?

R: April's when things change. April is when things happen. April. April. (pause) April is when people come into my life and leave my life. April is when I move. April is when things seem to stop and start for me.

J: And is that what's happening in this life?

R: It's like a feeling of fear, not like scary fear, but just a little bit of a nervous fear that something's going to change.

J: Like a fear of the unknown?

R: Right. Because the change always happens in April. And. I'm happy here.

J: Are you afraid that this change is going to take you away from here?

R: Yeah.

J: Would you like to find out what happens?

R: Yeah.

J: So just go ahead and move forward as far as you think you need to go. Could be just May if you want. But move forward to a significant, important day that shows you what happens. Can you find that time and space?

R: No. Things are black now. There's no... There's nothing right now.

J: Do you have a body?

R: No.

J: Do you have a sense of anything?

R: I'm moving. I'm shifting.

J: How so?

R: It's time for another timeline.

J: Would you like to find out what happened just before things went black?

R: Yeah.

J: So go ahead and back up. Back up to just before things went black. Where were you and what was happening?

R: I was sitting with my friend on that wall.

J: And then what happened?

R: And then I was dead.

J: How?

R: There's a lot of chaos. A lot of commotion.

J: And it just happened suddenly?

R: Yeah.

J: What caused it?

R: Somebody attacked me.

J: Why? Was it an accident or intentional?

R: Kind of both. I'm hearing, "crazy man in the street." I wasn't the only one. People are crying. People are screaming.

J: Do you know who this crazy man is?

R: No.

J: Nothing about where he came from or why?

R: Nope.

J: But you died suddenly?

R: Yeah.

J: And are you looking back at this life from the beyond now?

R: Yeah.

J: How do you feel about it?

R: Confused. Angry.

J: Angry why?

R: I feel like anytime things go good, something steals it from me.

J: Why is that? Has that happened before?

R: Yeah. And it's going to happen again.

J: Would you like to try to find the origin of when this first started?

R: Yeah.

I ask her to return to the cloud and travel to the origin of this pattern she’s caught in.

R: (crying) I've been here before.

J: Where is it?

R: (crying more) It's a place with Leif.

This is Reina’s friend in this lifetime who she was seeking answers about in regards to a tumultuous relationship. I used the name Leif to match the same name from this past life memory.

J: Can you describe it to me?

R: It's very cold. It's winter and there's a lot of snow. It's so beautiful. And we have a cottage on a mountain. We're so happy.

J: Tell me a little more about yourselves. About you and about her. Who are you? Who is she in this life?

R: In this life I'm... I'm someone named Reina. And she is a he. And his name is Leif. And she is a Viking pagan. I'm a witch.

J: How did you find each other? How did you meet?

R: Hmm... We crossed paths unintentionally. I was hiding. And he found me. I thought he was going to kill me. But he didn't. He took me to this place, and… My kind weren't liked there. They weren't completely shunned, but they weren't liked. And he was told that he needed to get rid of me. But instead, he took us to this mountain. And he built that cottage. He built it. And... He didn't ask me to marry him, we just... Got married. We did a handfasting. And there was this one... Pagan witch... Who was the officiant... He's someone I know here, too.

J: Who is it?

R: It's Will...

Will is also a friend in her current lifetime.

J: Wow.

R: That night, I could… I can smell the fire. We had a cozy fire and… the glow of the fire. It was just this beautiful, beautiful feeling, moment. It was everything I wanted. Everything he wanted.

J: Tell me a little bit more about your life together then after that.

R: It was simple and quiet. It was just us. You know, basic things. Things like planting and gardening and growing fruits and vegetables and fishing. We loved fishing. Laughing. We would roll around in the grass and laugh and… It's the kind of love you think only exists in fairy tales and the kind of thing that you think is not real.

J: But it is.

R: It was very real. We had a child. Her name was Araya.

J: (pause) (deciding to circle back to the original goal of visiting this lifetime) What is significant about April in this lifetime?

R: April is when we got married. And April is when they took us apart.

J: What happened?

R: I was pregnant again. And... I'm not sure who they were. They stormed in the cottage. They took him away. They took me and Araya away.

J: And then what happened?

R: They took Araya and (crying) I don't know where they went with her. And she was screaming. They took me to a boat. And they... cut open my stomach and took my baby. (whispers) That was it.

J: Did you die?

R: Yeah. After a while. They left me there to bleed out.

J: And then what happened? How did your soul, your spirit, respond to all of this after that death?

R: It's dark. It's just dark. (crying) It was dark for a long time.

J: What did you do?

R: I feel like I just went into a void. I didn't... I didn't allow myself to move forward like I should have.

J: What should you have done differently?

R: I feel like Spirit kept urging me to move, and I couldn't. And I probably just should have.

J: It's a very painful thing that you went through. It had to have been hard.

R: It was the... Not knowing what happened...

J: Where is Araya now?

R: In this life?

J: Anytime, whatever would bring you comfort to know, to see, where she is, how she is.

R: I got her back in this life.

J: Who is she?

R: She's my youngest daughter.

J: And does she carry anything with her from that life?

R: I think she does, but she doesn't know it.

J: Yeah. Maybe we can take this opportunity to break whatever hold that life has on any of you.

R: Yeah.

J: How can we do that?

R: I'm not really sure.

J: Can you go back into the void and ask Spirit?

R: (sobbing) These holds, these chains, these cords, whatever it is that's got me stuck to this, bound to this life, please, just remove it from all of us. Let us move forward. Show me what I need to do.

J: When you think of these bonds and chains that have you held back from moving forward, where do you feel them in or on your body?

R: My heart.

J: Just go into that feeling in your heart and tell me more about it. Does it feel like it has a pressure or a weight or a texture or a temperature?

R: (crying) It feels heavy. Heavy and sad, and like, immense pressure.

J: Is it harming you in any way?

R: Probably.

J: In what way? How can it?

R: Because. It keeps me from being able to really receive love. It keeps me... What kept me, until recently, from loving myself. I finally learned how to not neglect my own love for me.

J: That is a powerful gift.

R: Yeah.

J: Are there any parts of yourself that still need that love?

R: Yeah, there are.

J: What parts of you are those?

R: My inner child still needs a lot of love.

J: Would you like to bring her forward?

R: Yeah.

J: Just imagine the child version of you joining you right now. How old is she?

R: Five.

J: What's she look like?

R: She looks cute and small and fun and, like, she just wants to be happy. She's got a smile on her face and big brown eyes. Very playful. Very energetic. But there's this sadness about her. Even though she's smiling. There's just something in her that's sad.

J: Could it be what she's been carrying over from all these lifetimes?

R: Absolutely. She's heavy. Her energy is heavy.

J: How can you help lighten that for her?

R: (crying) She didn't do anything wrong. It wasn't about you. It was all those people. You didn't do anything. You deserve to be loved properly. You deserve to be hugged and kissed and held and protected. And nobody protected you.

J: Why don't you do that for her now?

R: (sobbing, then takes long deep breaths)

J: Good. How does she feel?

R: She's crying. She just feels like somebody finally saw her.

J: Yeah. Just go ahead and hold her until she's done crying. Let her get it all out.

This was an incredibly emotional moment, and I was definitely crying with her!

R: (sobs) It's going to be okay. You're gonna be okay.

J: Would it help to tell her how she's going to be okay? Tell her about all the wonderful things about you now. The wonderful, beautiful woman you grew up to be.

R: You are strong, and you're a survivor. You never let anybody take you down. You keep going no matter what. Because you know that you have to. And even when it's hard, you just push through. You become an amazing mother. Strong individual who doesn't let Anything deter her from her goals and her priorities. You become very successful and you end up having people who love you very much in your life.

J: Yeah.

R: Life is good when you get to where I'm at, so just let the rest of it go. Because you are loved, you really are loved. It doesn't matter who didn't show up for you. And it doesn't matter who didn't love you the way you deserve to be loved. You are loved. The people who didn't do what they should have done don't matter. That's not you. You didn't do anything. That's a them thing. So let it go because you become so amazing in the end. Somebody's gonna love you one day. The way you need to be loved. You will have that. So just keep going. Just keep going.

J: Somebody already does love you. You just haven't met them yet.

R: (Deep breaths)

J: That's so good. How does she feel?

R: Safe. Good.

J: I'd like you to just gather her up and pull her back into you. Unite so that you're one again. Just you. All the beautiful parts of you. And then I'd like you to notice your heart. And what does it feel like now where that weight was? Is it still there?

R: It's not there anymore.

J: Wonderful. How does your heart feel?

R: So much lighter. And, before, my heart was pounding really hard. It's not pounding anymore.

J: Good. And what would happen if you went back to that void now? What would you find?

R: It's like, uh. I see, like a crack and like, light trying to come through. Something's cracked open. But in a good way.

J: That's amazing. Can you help that crack open a little bit more? Let more light in?

R: Yeah. Yeah.

J: How can you do that?

R: I'm just pulling it apart.

J: Good.

R: Just prying it open. That light feels really good.

J: I bet.

R: There's that peace again.

J: What's going on now?

R: I just feel like I'm floating into that light.

J: Wonderful.

R: It's just like drawing me in. I'm smiling. I'm happy. I think I found me again.

J: Yeah. I want to point out that before, when you were in the void and you asked Spirit to help you, it ended up being all you that did it all to set you free. You had it in you all along.

R: (crying) I did... I did.

J: What a badass.

R: (laughs) I haven't seen this peace in so long.

J: Enjoy it for as long as you like.

R: Yeah.

J: And know that it's there. To stay.

R: Yeah.

J: And though life will continue to be life and throw turbulence at you, because that's just part of the human experience, it cannot take that peace away.

R: Yeah.

J: That is inherently part of you. (pause) What are you experiencing now?

R: These lights and these colors, they're vibrant pinks and blues and, sweet little birds singing and chirping and. It's like being on that cloud in the sky. But it's so much greater, more magnificent. I want to shout and dance.

J: Go for it. (laughing)

R: (laughing) I want to have a dance party on the cloud. (pause) Such a beautiful place. I see tarot cards in the sky.

J: Any specific ones?

R: Wheel of fortune and the Lovers.

J: I love it. Perfect.

R: Yeah. There's a, um... I don't know what I'd call it. A trail, a path, made up of tarot cards.

J: Oh, cool.

R: And at the end, there's a question mark. Like it's time for the next adventure.

J: What do you want that to be?

R: I want it to be whatever I need it to be. Whatever Spirit has next for me. I feel this strong, urging, leading. I feel like I'm being pulled again. But it doesn't feel heavy this time.

J: Good.

R: It's almost like an excitement. Like. Come on. Hurry. Come on. Let's go!

J: That's awesome.

R: Yeah.

J: Where do you feel it's pulling you to?

R: Deeper into who I am. Into my practice. Really allowing myself to be free to do what I need to do in that regard.

J: Yeah.

R: I see so many things. All the things I've been wanting to do.

J: Nothing can stop you.

R: No.

J: Except you.

R: And that's not going to happen anymore. I see my kids all playing a key role in what comes next.

J: And how beautiful that they've all come together.

Reina just experienced a significant move and change regarding her older and younger kids, which is what I was referring to.

R: Yeah. Yeah, this has been... This has been a very healing and... Something I needed soulfully. Something they needed soulfully. I just see abundance in all areas of my life coming. Happiness and peace and love and. I see it coming. I see it coming now. I never saw it coming before. I see it coming now.

J: What an amazing feeling.

R: Yeah.

J: Just embrace that.

R: Yeah.

J: If you're interested, I'd like to see if you would like to invite in the Higher Self.

R: Yeah.

I used the technique of inviting in the Subconscious mind, or Higher Self, which is a cool technique that bypasses the thinking mind, the ego, and cuts straight to the answers.

J: (speaking to the Higher Self) So I know that you could have chosen many different lifetimes for Reina to see today. And we probably know why some of those lifetimes were shown, especially that most recent one. But why did you choose those other lives? For her to see the first one as the poor and malnourished girl who ran away, and the second one, that beautiful city with the white walls.

R: She needed to know where she came from. But that she's not a product of her environment. She's not subject to what's going on around her, that she's capable. She's capable of getting away from anything. She's strong enough. In each of those lifetimes, she had the power to walk away. She did.

J: Yeah.

R: And in the lifetime where she saw the city, she needed to see that peace was possible. Beauty was possible. She needed to see that everything around her is just temporary. But that doesn't mean that you lose your peace, you lose your sanity, you lose your strength or ability. All of those things are still there. And that even though things are unpredictable and times can get tough, you're still capable of making it through that and finding the right side of life on the other side of those things. Reina’s come a long way. A long way. And she didn't give up.

J: No.

R: She's never going to give up. But sometimes we need reminders that it's still possible.

J: Yeah. And so she sees how all of that applies to her life now.

R: Yes.

J: Yeah. Is there anything else that you need to share with her that she needs to know? While we have you here in the forefront.

R: The love is coming. She's waited a long time, but love is coming. To not lose hope. And to remember that she's still a whole individual regardless of whether somebody is there or not.

J: Yes.

R: Her love for herself is the most important.

J: Absolutely. And it sounds like or seems like she's had a pretty big breakthrough with that today.

R: Yes.

J: Is there any other area in which she could improve in her self-love, and in the ways that she loves herself, that you can share with her?

R: Just remember that the body is just a human thing, that you're more than your body and what it looks like doesn't matter. Reina struggles with self confidence. She struggles with being okay in her own skin. But she's loved no matter what she looks like. And that's huge for her to learn.

J: And that is so true. Is there any healing that you can do for her right now, physical or anything left that's emotionally needing to be healed?

R: Yes. Reina. You're beautiful just the way you are. You need to look in the mirror every day and tell yourself that. And when you put on your clothes, you need to put on your clothes because they make you feel good, not because other people look at you and judge you, because other people's judgments don't matter. You feel good in what you're wearing, that's all that matters. Because again, your body is just flesh. Your soul is a greater, greater entity. And that's what's more important. Don't worry about people who look at you funny. That's a them issue. You're beautiful in your own right, and the right person is going to see all of that, and it's going to be okay.

J: (pause with deep breathing for both) Is there anything else that you need to share with her?

R: No, not at this time.

I closed the session, thanking the Higher Self for their answers, and brought Reina back from hypnosis.

This was a profound experience for both of us, and I know I say this a lot, but I’m so grateful for the honor of being her facilitator through this healing journey. She’s got amazing things ahead of her and we both believe this session opened that door wide open!
